And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. For the hope we have is an expectation with certainty that God will do what he has said. Because he loves us and his love will never fail us.
"Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see" (Hebrews 11:1). You cannot have hope unless it is tied together with faith. In essence, you have hope because you have faith and you have faith because you have hope. We have these both because they are both knit together deeply in unconditional love. God's rich love will never let us down. It is unchanging and God hears our hopes and prayers. We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. (Hebrews 6:19). Hope with an expectancy that your prayers will always be answered exceedingly more than you could ask, think, imagine or dream.
